A: Do you know?

A NYC crackhouse is raided by the Police, the bedroom is dirty, full of crack, weapons and it smells like death. Not something you want to be in.

In the The creeps photo essay.

Also in the NYC a smaller slice of the apple photo essay.

it did creep me out, especially the bloody rags, needles on the floor and grotty feeling. The only time I got that feeling again was a couple of years later in Washington Heights walking to the Hudson river, crossing the pedestrian bridge. It was like a minefield, so much I had to take the Jack Russel I was walking in my arms so it didn't get stuck. Ugh, I think I would rather drive around in Afghanistan or Iraq to be honest.
