Q: Can anyone tell me how to reach JPGMAG?

A: Do you know?

Okay, I took this shot of my daughter serving at her Volleyball game last night. I shot without a flash (as shooting with the flash seems to come out to dark), yet, all of the pictures I take at her games, seem to come out "grainy". Anyone have any pointers on how to shoot these kinds of photos? I also had the camera set on 'auto'.

Looks like the camera is setting a high ISO in order to compensate for lack of light. Try setting the ISO manually to something lower like ISO400 or ISO200 and see if it can compensate enough with aperture to still give fast enough shutter speeds.

I agree with Michael entirely! I dont know what make/model camera you have Tracey but with my camera, Canono "Kiss" Digital/SLR i can set an ACTION shot by simply turning the dial to action and it does the rest!
