You ask what does money have to do with being a Religious Icon? On American money the words, "In God We Trust" is still printed. Our nation was founded upon the faith of Our God. Many have forgotten that fact or choose to ignore it. If it hadn't been that our Country's forefathers believed in God and had the faith that he would see them through the building of a new nation, the United States of America wouldn't be the leader of nations that it is today. Many men and women have fought and died for our freedoms, one of being the Freedom of Religion. As many have said before, "A Soldier will die for your freedom, but Jesus Christ died for your sins." So what better represents our Faith than something we use every day?
