Just down Fishtrap Road, you'll find this: the lust of my North Texas existence. I don't know who owns the land, but in a perfect world I'd set up shop inside. Leaky roof and all.

It's hard for me to accurately describe how much I appreciate this barn; its simple frame surrounded by an ocean of stillness. It symbolizes the connection I feel to beautiful things left behind in the name of progress.

If you should find yourself on Fishtrap Road, I highly recommend a visit.

In the story Prosper, Texas.

Even though I'm a city girl, this barn makes me feel so at home ... and at peace. The sunny flowers ovegrowing the shed; the rusty textured tin roof, the beautifully aged wood; the sparse Texas treeline: I can imagine the hearty farm family that toiled so proudly here so long ago. Lovely, Jon. Simply lovely.
