Having been a fan of David Lynch's films since seeing 'Elephant Man' in media class in Year 9, I chose to include a tribute to 'Blue Velvet' in my 366 Days project completed between 17 April 2007 and 16 April 2008.
This self-portrait represented day 36 and was my attempt to recreate the image on the cover of my copies of the film (yes, I have two copies).
I have other film tributes from the project though they involved manipulation of the images beyond colour and contrast adjustments (so do not fall within JPGs image guidelines) and were interpretations of films rather than direct copies from scenes or stills:
