The warm yellow/orange tones of the autumn leaf really contrast nicely with the cool blues of the painted wood. Not only are the colors visually enticing but the textures also hold our attention. The hard lines of the wood and the spots & crinkles on the time worn leaf allow us to visually feel/touch the texture present in the composition.
