Fabulous shot even if you look quickly... "Calendar" quality. But the more you look, the more you see: the beautiful column of evergreens on the other side of the lake, the nearly red earth at their "feet", reeds floating in the foreground, dead timbers fore 'n aft on the left side, the beautiful reflection-- lots to like here. and that's saying nothing about the vivid color, saturation and shadows! OUTSTANDING, Mike!

A good painting or picture is when you can picture yourself inside the painting. I can picture myself standing there looking at all the beauty and enjoying the peace and quiet.

This just grabs your eye - great balance and clarity. I can almost smell the freshness (hmmm, might make a good ad). That little dash of red on the other side of the lake is a very nice touch. Good to have everything cooperate so well. Probably a summer shot, June maybe? Feels like it. Excellent.
