Homelessness

Lower Wacker Drive in Chicago is best known for its homeless community. This 2 month old baby has lived on a pile of blankets with her mother on the side walk below The Magnificent Mile, Chicago's shopping utopia, since her birth. Her mother wants more then anything to see her daughter have a normal life, a life she knows cannot happen when you fight for a place to sleep.
I'll visit them again today with a copy of this photograph and some food. I'll stay to pray that this child sees a better day.

wow. i visit and feed the homeless on a regular and have seen small kids from time to time living on the streets. i just hope that these children overcome this and be inspired to break down the walls of poverty. thanks for sharing. peace.
