Jack Horton, a squatter at the abandoned Greenwood Inn in Beaverton, Ore., has been living in, and slowly stripping metal from the building for months to pay for his methamphetamine habit. He was later arrested when police found his pickup loaded with metal that was destined for the scrapyard. The building has since been demolished.
