After watching again the movie “Frida” about famous Mexican artist Frida Carlo, I was inspired over and over by her work, her straight…Frida lived her life through brutal pains (each bone of her body was broken from accident that happened when she was a teenager), but she still lived her life fullest and was able to create amazing pieces of art. She is my hero!
Through this photograph I was trying to show the unusual nature of Frida’s personality. In the movie she had beautiful garden with exotic birds, and since I could not find anywhere in my area birds, I used my favorite pink elephant. This elephant was a part of golf playground for tourists beside the beach. Sadly, this elephant is not there anymore. So, this photograph has two meanings for me: amazing artist Frida Carlo and my little pink elephant.
