This photo was taken in 2008, the rattlesnake was in the road in front of my house in Texas. Looking back now, I was crazy to get that close...

    Renee, this is beautiful. Greata capture right down to the ripples in the sand and his body language couldn't be more clear, eh? I like snakes but I give you kudos for this shot, telephoto or not. Very nicely done.
