Magnolia was made famous by the "Lazy Sunday" video and before that, as I understand it, by "Sex and the City."
Magnolia's cupcakes really are incredible. The frostings live up to the hype, and the cake part is yummy, too. During our week in New York in October 2007, we went only one place twice. It wasn't the Met; it wasn't Central Park. It was Magnolia Bakery.
