Whisky drinking, cigar smoking, gamling, womanizing, gun carrying... beloved granfather. He had a rough exterior but was a real loving grandfather who helped many less fortunate families in his home country, the Dominican Republic. This was taken about 9:00am in the D.R. about a year before he died of throat cancer. The people who came to his funeral ranged from political figures, rich families and many poor farmers and locals who he had helped over the years.
