This was the main building where all the movers and shakers of their day met with the King and cunducted affairs of state. Behind this building is the King's private quarters which at present are in the process of being renovated and restored. In the old days, he was the only man allowed beyond this place. All others were the queen, her ladies in waiting, female servants and his concubines. To quote Mel Brooks, "It's good to be the King!"
