If you love an image (whether it's yours or someone else's) and want to make sure others get a chance to see it, you can “feature” it by choosing the “Spotlight” button.
When an image is Spotlighted, it receives enhanced visibility in premium spots throughout the site. Spotlighted images are rotated through these higher-visibility positions to ensure the best opportunity for the images to be seen by JPG users.
If you see a great photo that would make a perfect entry for one of our Shoot Out photo contests but it was uploaded by another user, now you can enter that photo in the contest and, if it wins, you get to share in the contest winnings.
Like a photo editor, if you've got an eye for great work, find it and submit it to a contest. If it wins, since you staked the entry fee, you'll take home part of the prize (the rest, of course, goes to the member who shot the image).
Collections are a JPG+ feature. You must be a JPG+ member to create new collections and to add photos to collections.

Kaputaş was our spot, we went here twice, in 6 days, really lovely place, small, crazy breaking surf that could tumble a man over, with a strong under current that is hidden, the sea goes deep, within a few feet from the beach.Kaputaş is a little over 20km west of Kaş bus station. You have no idea from looking at these really how hot it was here, and coming from madrid, (which is like an oven for about 6 months of the year) this was something else. What was cool about this little cove, was that it was surrounded by a steep cliff, which at the top is the main coastal road. so, you are really in like a sauce pan kind of place, and you feel like that, cooking slowly, from the insides out. There are very steep steps which is the only access to the beach, which is hard going when the sun is on your back or face. also, at the top, there is the Turkish National Guard, armed with machine guns, who patrol the coastal road, and pose with girls, which i haven't got a picture of, as i quite like my life. Turkey is quite mad, but i loved it.
