Yes, real letters, they were about four feet tall and I had to time everything right to get the shot. The people holding them couldn't get them all up at the same time individually, when they did I snapped about ten photos.One of my favorite photos I've taken, for many reasons. I wish I could relive that day about once a month. It was peaceful and inspiring.
