My husband and I were on one of our trips to visit my mother when a mother doe and her two young fawn appeared along the side of a swamp across the highway. We stopped the car and I took some pictures outside. What is significant about this reflective moment to me is that it occurred on the same day as my mother's 99th birthday
this past July.
