The summer of 2008 was a very good season for lightning photography in southern Ontario. We had about 3 or 4 really big thunderstorms. Not having access to a high rise building, which would have been optimal for these kinds of photos, I ran to my high school to take shelter under the school while trying to capture a lightning bolt in one of my hundreds of frames.
