Today, I found this secret lake. On a drive home from town, I took a dirt road that I had never been down, just to see what was down it.
To my delight, I came upon
a secluded lake. No cars, people, just a quiet and peaceful place. It seems that there are rarely any people there. So I named it the Secret Lake. Shhhh.....don't tell anybody.
It is my secret.
All the photos of this place are not fooled around with other than just a little increase in contrast. No photoshoping was done. This is pretty much as I found it.
The reflection in the first shot was so amazing that I thought it was some problem with my camera but upon closer examination found that it is just the crystal clear reflection that creates a kind of visual confusion. Please feel free to spend a little time at the Secret Lake.

Truly amazing! Difficult to tell where the forest ends and the lake begins. I appreciate the natural resolution without photoshopping (there's too much of that on this network already!).
