After many long months at sea, the mariners' ears fell upon the Siren's enchanting song. They thought it was their beloved ladies calling them back home.
Entranced, they could not break away from the beautiful melody, shipwrecking on the rocky coast. There they were left to starve and drown in the depths of the Sea.
Alas, the seamen were gravely mislead. It was not their beloved beckoning them home.
