OK, so I am cheap.....

I was at the fabric store with my wife and they had all kinds of wacky fabric out for Halloween Costumes. In the pile, I saw some gold and silver fabric that was REALLY reflective. Almost like the reflector panels that you can buy. I have some small panels, but I thought this would be my chance to have a 5 foot by 5 foot panel for cheap. I used PVC for the frame and sewed the panels so that I had a 2 sided panel that I could take apart. I set it up to reflect my wife's SB600 flash on the gold side for this shot. It acted like a big softbox. In this shot I used a smaller panel to give some back light. Not bad for under $30 USD.

Looks so good in lightbox. This is the Grandmother of all the Gnomes I think. Love her. :-)
