Look at that Hat

In traditional Ryukyu Dance its typical to see these fancy hats worn. First they serve a function of keeping you out of the sun and you can wear it with the traditional Okinawan hair style which is rolled up into a large ball on the top of the head. You can check out the photo of the Queen to get a better idea of what I mean. Hard to wear a hat on a do like that. These days they look more like the hub caps for a Nissan Diesel dump Truck.
