N California is such a cool place. I've been to quite a few cities and countries and no place other than Chicago (where I grew up) and Ireland (where my family is from) feels like it could be home. A nice place to visit, maybe, but not home. I've lived in Arizona for 10 years now and it still doesn't feel like home. N California is the only other place on my short list. It just has this great vibe going on that is hard to explain. You have to experience it to get it, and this shot really captures it for me.
