Upon his wizened countenance, we see Punkin, The Elder has great knowledge and experience. He knows that anybody who lays out a jack-o-lantern at the beginning of September will feature this disgraceful cave-in by Halloween.

Punkin, the Elder remains optomistic, though. One can see this in his sad and dwindling grimace...
