My Oma
She came to the US a year after Mom and I did and always claimed she did not understand when you spoke English around her. I think secretly she did because she always knew what my Dad was saying or if Mom and I did not speak in German. Used to drive me crazy as a kid because I had to translate all the western shows for her, such as Roy Rogers (that was her favorite), Lone Ranger, Hopalong Cassidy, The Cisco Kid, and of course Superman.
