I think there is too much going on in this one, but it was so beautiful when I was actually there I couldn't help but to put the picture up. As much as I love photography, sometimes it's completely impossible to capture the magic of actually being there, as was the case in this one.

This is a great shot - despite your fears of it being busy. Looking at it in thirds breaks it down a bit. The sky is fantastic - the dark tones with the puffy white clouds and shimmery leaves. The horizon and path are very inviting and then the dappled shadows on the foreground are also interesting. It must be an absolutely beautiful spot and you've captured it well.

I appreciate the kind words, and I am proud of this photo, I just wish I could really encompass what it really felt like being there, with the warm noon sun, cool breeze, the smells, sounds of the locusts and birds, my amazing girlfriend was there enjoying it with me... it was truly an amazing place in time that I'll never forget. I have the picture to see, but the memory to feel if that makes any sense.

This one is great, I love looking down the road, it makes me wonder where it goes! And I love the black and white also, looks like a nice spot to visit. You are right about not actually seeing something with your own eyes, even with the best camera it's still not quite the same! And of course everyones perception is different too, as my professor always said,"Everyones perception, is a private subjective experience! "LOL
