Takes a lot out of you to photograph this, Im not sure why but I find myself thinking about what it will be like when I die. The older we get the faster the days go by so we need to charish every moment we have. To the peole who do not know your father its easy to pass this by, but for you it brings back every memory you have ever had with him. I admire you.

I live 350 miles away from my Dad. I just spoke to him on the phone before I sat down here at the computer. I often wonder how I will handle the moment of my fathers passing when it arrives. I hope I have the strength to record the moment, using the skill that we all posses to capture a moment that we don't want to come. God Bless you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks to all that have viewed. It was hard to take this photo but, I felt compelled to. I took photos of my dad every time I saw him. He is the one who first inspired me into photography. He also bought me my first camera. So, good or bad I had to remember the moment I last saw him. Hope that explains why I did it. Thanks again to all JPG'ers for helping me get thru this ordeal.

Great shot. It took alot of strength to take this shot. every muscle in me would be shaking so bad that i'd never get a focused image.
i'm only nineteen, but i forsee my mom having it stated in her will that no cameras be allowed at her funeral because she'll probably see that i favorited this. She bought me my first real camera.
