As of right this moment I am currently in India. It is pretty much amazing . . . but amazing in the sort of way that makes a person complain a whole lot now, and then miss it all later.

My friend and I were in Agra at a random shop when he (Scott Stulberg) started going through some really shitty Indian photo books. Everything was way over priced and we were pretty much looking for some ideas . . . . well, he was . . . . I don't really stress about it because of the two of us, he is the professional. So he sees this old old picture of a man, an elephant, and a wall. Scott starts flipping out saying we HAVE to do something like this.

Fast forward to Jaipur. I have rebelled against the schedule and decided to stay in at the hotel that day and just be by myself. I manage a few hours of quite time before Scott and Bobby (our driver) burst into the room and exclaim that they (Scott) have found the perfect elephant, the perfect wall, and the perfect rider. Once again, I have to wake up early and be there before the sun is. Definitely not something I'll miss later.

So Scott is screaming and yelling as usual trying to get everything just SO, and I'm grumpy that I can't sleep another 4 hours and here we are watching the stable owner push the elephant up against the wall for the 75th time and our poor model just looks so sick of this bullshit, and I took a picture.

Props to Donald who said it looks like the Elephant is cheering him up . . . I think that is basically spot on.

An hour later while we were riding the elephant in the photograph, Scott's camera bag fell off the top and broke 3 lenses.

We ALL needed a little cheering up that day . . .
