Q: First Time Wedding Photographer

A: Do you know?

Sorry if I’m breaking a theme or site rule by posting this. Just the home theme is a bit complicated for me. Because of the amount of moving I do overseas and having a home in the Dallas area, my concept of home often changes. Following the birth of my first granddaughter (seven years ago) I wished I could live two lives at once: the one with my husband and one where I could be near family, plus develop strong roots in a community. Soon after the birth of our second granddaughter (three years ago), we purchased a home near our beloved family. Since then, thanks to the internet, digital cameras, web-cams, and Skype, there are moments my wish of living two lives at once almost feels real. Pics left and center are ones of our home in Texas; right current home in Tuscany.

This is a lovely essay. Thanks for the history. You truly are a "global" family!

Thanks, Don. For a project I figured out how many times I've moved. My recent move within Italy marks my 57th, which explains why I don't feel totally at home in one place. I move on average every fourteen months. Have moved as much as four times with a year(not fun).I feel most at home in our Dallas home, because it holds things representing special memories of the places we've lived.Despite many challenges, overall I love my life and love sharing it.
