Obama's victory for me was emotionally overwhelming. I cried because of the story. 97% of all African Americans voted. That in itself an amazing victory. As I read Mr Obama's speech and watched it on Youtube I started to think about the huge wave of people who were velebrating and had hope. I considered that little 106 year old lady who had to tackle technology to vote and possible would not have bothered normally, but this time it mattered. I heard Mr Obama speak to me in my corner of the world and declare hope. And the depth of the meaning of that hope and the amazing history that it all is overtook me with empathy and excitement for our global future. My good wishes and congratulations go to every American at this amazing moment of change. We all need change!
