This may be the closest photo I have taken of a bird but this morning the Blue Jay stepped up close to the window from the bird feeder and I was ready for it with my camera. It seemed transformed into a large bird in the moment the shutter released.

The Blue Jay viewed
Himself hugely formed.
He was PERFECT
For God to accept...
With mind renewed,
His body and face
Became transformed
He filled the space
In love and grace...

This is especially good, Andrea!! If I understand your "station" correctly you are shooting behind glass... so achieving an image this sharp and detailed is all the more impressive. I expect your 2nd difficulty was holding the camera extraordinarily still as you likely zoomed in? ...or was this a tripod shot? Whichever it was, KUDOS!!! Print it and hang it!!!

Oh Wow! Thank you all so much for your wonderful comments so far....Yes, Rob I hand held this through two panes of window glass...(the storm window and the inside window)...I did not use a tripod ...Although some people do with success. I appreciate your
