The Tour-de-Okinawa bicycle race covers several days of bicycle races on tiny Okinawa. Sunday's big event is a 200 kilometer enduro and this year the weather couldn't have been worse.
It was a rainy, hazy, windy, cold, damp and just about any other nasty adjective you could use to describe the weather kinda day.
I was lucky to find this spot under cover where I had a somewhat unobstructed view of the riders.
In the background is the town of Motobu in Okinawa with the Sesoko Jima bridge in the background.
I was experimenting with my new Pentax K200D and just left it fixed on the tripod and snapped the shutter as one of the heats passed by.
