Goodbye Macro
The manual focus Carl Zeiss Planar T* 85mm F1.4 on a Canon 5D saying goodbye to the Canon EF 100mm F2.8 Macro USM. I don't have the patience and discipline to pursue serious macro photography anymore.
After selling this, I topped up some money to obtain the 24-105L instead. I do still have an add-on Raynox macro lens for "emergencies". :-)

They made an 85mm f/1.4, wow, that is a nice fast prime lens. That must be one of the best you can get for portraits.
