Hey everyone!! Surgery was not successful, so I'm just recovering from an arthroscopy rather than the expected procedure. I'll have to have a complete shoulder replacement, which was unexpected. I'm not quite ready to wake the little people up yet, but will be looking at and commenting on as many photos as possible until I have complete use of my arm again.

Great shot Susan. Bummer about the surgery. I'll refrain from talking medical, since experience shows everyone has a story, and after awhile it has nothing to do with yours. I'll just give a simple "watch out for those pain meds" warning, and wish you speedy recovery.

Awesome shot and title. Hang in there, new shoulder and physical therapy will give you a bionic arm to hold that camera better!

Wonderful composition of the 'real' world. I'm sure though, that there are some little people in there someplace. Sorry the first surgery was not the last, but wish you the best for its recovery and a successful next one with the fastest recovery on record. I can 'feel you pain' somewhat, having had both rotator cuffs repaired in recent years...thank goodness not at the same time. Now back to that latte...

I love this composition! Sorry to hear about your shoulder! I undestand your pain, Two bad shoulders myself. Hope you can keep yourself busy with one arm and a camera while you recover

How ironic - I have an MRI tomorrow for my right shoulder! Must be something photographers have to go through for their art! Glad to have you back and know you have a lot of friends in their prayers and thoughts. Thanks for sharing.

Aww Susan, sorry to hear about the shoulder, Im still awaitng my MRI schedule for my left shoulder if ever, but it's not really bad only when Im lugging around my camera bag. ah I blame my case to old age..

Pretty incredible.....15 responses, and a third of them are from folks with shoulder issues!!! Too bad we aren't each born with an instruction booklet because by the time we figure out what we shouldn't be doing, its too late!! :) Might as well just keep partying 'til Curly comes home!!
