I sometimes like experimenting with low-key photography. I found this shot particularly difficult because of the lighting that was required in order to get the desired effect.
Although the wine in the glass was fairly cheap, I think I was able to capture the mood that I wanted.
This was shot with a Nikon D300 outfitted with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. If I ever get around to re-shooting this, I will most likely use a macro lens instead.
