On our last day in Venice the reflections in the canals were like beautiful impressionistic paintings. At first I went for capturing part of the subject matter along with the reflection and then went for a series of just reflective shots.
In the Venetian Reflective Impressionism photo essay.
Also in the story Venetian Reflections and a Thank You.

Amazing! I wonder what it would be like to live that close to the water. The plants in the window give the building a sense of habitation and are very enhancing to an already striking image. Another beautiful capture.

You managed to capture those muted colors (and of course the lovely reflections) like the Impr. masters.

Except for the bars on the window, a homeowner might sit on the sill and dangle bare feet in the water... incredible!! Such a wonderful image here, Deb! The arch under the bridge plays a pivotal role and I especially like the reflections there as well!

awesome capture here. I love the detail of the arch meeting the wall especially the reflections it made on the water,
