The remains of 36.3 lb. “Beasty Boy” cooked to perfection without legs, wings, and a back bone, thanks to Fred (he’s the major cook in our family) and a You-Tube video. Fred used the back bone to create a stock that resulted in the best gravy we ever had. We feared this big of a turkey would cook up dry and tough, but it was by far the juiciest and most tender turkey to grace our table. And each of our guests got to go home with a tin of sliced turkey.
