My mother's house revolves around coffee & the kitchen. To me, this shows exactly what it's like to come home for a visit - sitting on the stool, listening to the grinding of the beans and watching my mother drink coffee while she looks out the window to the lake.

I must admit, your story makes me somewhat jealous. No one in my family is a coffee drinker, but I am simply infatuated with it. I wish that I had the same childhood memories of it that you had, and that I could share my love of coffee with those that I love. Damn.
