Taking this shot is not one for the faint of heart...
Steep inclines on soft ash like dirt, cliffs, and jagged metal abound. There is no parking unless you want to take a chance at being towed... then you have to trespass onto government land too... (just ignore all the signs).
All that said, it was worth it to get this shot. Taken at 12:30 am with ISO set at 200 and Aperture set at F9 for 8 seconds. Magic!
