Once upon a time, in a field far away, there was dog.
Not your ordinary four legged, car chasing canine
But a dog that could speak to humans when he saw fit.
His name was Clover and he was blessed with a spell.
You see Clover once belonged to a young girl who was unaware that she was a Princess and that she held regal powers. It had been hidden from her for her own safety, as there were always those wishing to make a King see things their way. This Princess was named Laura, she loved Clover beyond that possible of a normal child. One day the two were out feeding some swans in a nearby lake and Laura was talking non stop to her beloved dog... a practice she did regularly. At one point she held Clover's head in her dainty little hands and kissed him between his eyes three times saying "I wish you could talk back." It was then that Clover uttered his first words..... "When is lunch, Laura?" -
