Even though my grandparents don't remember their children's names, or what year it is because of their severe cases of Alzheimer's, they do remember how much they love each other, and I don't think that's something either will ever forget.

my father suffers from dementia and my mom passed in 97. He still misses her to this day... perhaps misses is not a big enough word... he pines for her. i understand this lifelong love that you so beautifully captured in this photo.
