Before Photoshop, there were filters. UV, Sky, Star, and colored filters... to name a few.
The above shot was taken with a Canon PowerShot G7 with a lens conversion adapter -- yours for $17 -- that allows the camera to have 58mm filters attached. It's making this almost perfect little point & shoot (even more) fun.
