i like this photo but if i could make a suggestion i would recommend croping the tree out it would bring better focus onto the angel

Good call Jasmine! You make a good point - the tree does visually compete with the Angel statue.
I was hoping to get better depth of field, but the lenses I had with me didn't have a wide enough aperture. If I had been able to shoot at f2.0, I think the difference in focus between the foreground and background would have been more striking.
