A photo I took of my Grandmother a little while before her portrait with my Grandfather, using natural light.

It's incredible to me, but at 84, she still has almost completely black hair (Yes, that is her natural hair color.).

My father told me that I shouldn't post this photo or show it to my Grandmother, because she doesn't look good or like herself. I disagree, I think he is just used to her looking a certain way, from when he was younger, and is unfamiliar with some of the faces she makes. I think that this is a very typical face she makes. To some it may look like a frown, but to me it looks like the smirk she makes right before she breaks into a smile or a laugh. To me this is a very familiar face that I know and love. Both my sister and I agreed that she looks beautiful, and also very much like herself.
