Today was Jan. 1. The first thing I saw out the window this morning were the first 5 fat robins of spring in the bird bath. I wanted to take a picture but the window was too dirty. I mentioned to my husband that we really need to clean the window so we can see the birdbath. I did not mean right then. Honest.
Well, this wonderful man was going through chemotherapy at this time, bless his heart. Imagine my shock and surprise when I looked at the window and saw him out there cleaning it so I could photograph my robins at the bird bath. Unbelievable. That's just the kind of guy he is, too. Always doing nice things for me. I sure do love him.
PS...he's fine now. Amen.
