It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord...
Lamentations 4: 26

A blue jay
In waiting
Is clearly debating
Should he stay
To retrieve seeds
From the community
Kingdom lunch tray
Or should he leave?
For the fox squirrel
Who eats slow
In the snow
To savor each bite
may not easily let go
Without a good fight.
Poetry by me AJP

The Blue Jay though normally not patient with other birds on the feeder had to wait a bit before the Fox Squirrel completed his meal of sunflower seeds...The blue Jay's expression looks like he is saying,
"How long do I have to wait here?" But he surprised me a lot and graciously waited on the branch even though it was a long cold wait. It is interesting to watch nature's wildlife and learn how they deal with
the problem of just staying alive through the winter months.

Good shot! I'll bet that bird is not happy someone else is eating his food.
