Q: My sister in-law recently gave me a Canon EOS 10D digital camera body. Having only used point and shoot cameras, what would be a good beginners lens to get for this camera? Should I get kit lens to start with?

A: Do you know?

Antique pitcher (maybe Turkish) bought years ago in a Cairo antique shop. It rests in the late afternoon sun on an old Turkish kilim. I have rubbed the pitcher's midsection, hoping for a wish-granting genie who would rescue our site.

Like the contrast here Robert, the colors and the warmth of the sun are really nice. Rub some more and I think it will work!

It's looking like your Genie has been at work on the rescue package for our site Robert. I hope it grants all your good wishes :)

I like the ambience of the existing light that you used from the afternoon sun which casts the shadow behind your pitcher.

You have a great caption for a great photo with great lighting and shadow behind the pitcher. It doesn't hurt to wish on anything as you did with this pitcher ; ) Maybe your wish did come to the rescue and JPG will now survive! YAY!!!
