I like that the weight of the image isn't overpowered in its relativity by the black space. It's a great palette on which to reveal and convey a visual sense of fragility and innocence. The light fall-off is superb and does everything it should to produce an impression of the known world and the unknown world through the eyes of an innocent.
For me theres a relativity that I can associate with as being an individual, an only child, an orphan. The sense that in a world of darkness there is still a sense and hope that comes with light (seeing and understanding). -
