Sitting in the clouds and watching the sun rise above Machu Picchu. Photo taken in 1995.
I got up around 5 am and made my way into the ruins. Had the place all to myself and shot several hundred pictures as the light emerged. The clouds and mist rushed past me from deep in the valley. I was soaked by the time I was done. One of the most peaceful moments you could ask for.

Wow, that's one place I will never see because it's too far and I am too old and sick...can't fly over 2-3 hours, and can't deep sea dive any more, but I really enjoyed your artful, skillfully taken photos. I hope one day someone will print a book with your photos! You have a wonderful eye!
