I like to leave bread out in the winter for the squirrels so they will leave the bird feeders alone. Most go for the bread, but not Red. I finally conned him with a baby cookie. I guess he is a sugar junkie and now I am his supplier. Oh well the birds are content.l

I happen to love squirrels and have yet to get a good shot of one. The ones in NY state are brown/gray in summer and they get pale gray in the fall.When I first noticed this change of color I thought the squirrel was sick...Wrong!... just his winter coat! I love your pretty red guy!
